Sitting in Awareness

Sitting in Awareness is an intentional practice.  With our  heart open, here is where we look for inspiration, revelations and the expansion of our calling that comes from beyond our rational mind.  This is an active and engaged practice that calls us to seek our connection to the Source of our Divine Nature in poetry, chanting, prayer, deep reading, art, music and the natural world.  Not limited to these, our intention is to follow the thread of our own Divine Nature expressed in the richness of our life experience in midst of an emerging reality.

Sitting in Awareness brings us, again, to another encounter with the Mystical Alchemy that manifests in our intentions.  This is the transformation that comes from “seeing” beyond what we know.  And from that “seeing”,  we push against the perception of reality that limits transformation and completion.  There is no other way, that I know, to see more than we can see or know more than we can know.  In that moment, our reality changes.

As with The Awakening Practice, calling on our "watcher"  or detached observer from a place of non-judgment, we find the position that allows us to connect with other angelic messengers.  These messengers reach into our consciousness and bring  us more than we knew before.  This is not a teaching or a learning experience.  This is direct revelation, right from the Source of our Divine Nature.

The time right after Heart Meditation is,often times, the best time to do this work.  Our heart is open and we are at our most receptive.  Here is the place of “fire”.   It is fire that comes from beyond the poem, the fire that is behind the chant.  This is the imaginal fire that takes us deep into our Divine Nature.

Sitting in awareness and observing in non-judgment we receive the transforming revelation given to us in compassion, that directly transforms not only our outer but inner landscape.
